MEET THE MAKER
My work is inspired by architecture, furniture design, and the raw beauty of materials like wood and metal. I bring these influences into my ceramics in my own way—combining structured forms with a playful, personal touch.
I’ve always loved working with my hands and turning ideas into physical objects. Many of my pieces are shaped by memories from my childhood, which I subtly weave into each form to give them a unique and personal feel.
I often carve my ceramics by hand using a knife, creating textures that resemble worked wood. This approach comes from my background: I went to a Waldorf school, where I worked with wood and metal, and occasionally textiles. When I was 17, I started an internship in a ceramics studio. I loved it so much that I extended it into two years—and I’ve been coming back to ceramics ever since.
In between, I studied communication design, but I always felt a deep connection to clay—so eventually, I knew I had to fully return to it.
About a year ago, I decided to fully commit to ceramics and develop my own visual language through clay.
I CARE ABOUT YOU
Â
Ceramics are delicate and should be handled with care. To keep your pieces in good condition, avoid bumps and knocks with other dishware in the dishwasher, cupboards, or sink, as small impacts can create tiny cracks over time.
Also avoid sudden temperature changes (thermal shock). Let pieces cool after the dishwasher before filling them with something cold, and let cold ceramics warm up to room temperature before adding hot liquids.
All glazes are food-safe. Your pieces are dishwasher and microwave safe, but hand washing is recommended when possible, as it’s gentler and helps them last longer
